I've had alot of wake up moments lately. There are MANY things that I've taken for granted! I've had time to think about my lovely girly and how much she is a blessing in my life. Today I got to hang out with her and talk with her. I'm just so thankful I have her!! The time is flying by much to fast and I want nothing more than to make the best of every moment, especially as we get closer to those teenage years. She is an amazinggggggggggg young ladyyyyyyyyyy!!

Like everyone else in the world we've been busy! I've been busy with my new business and my Johnny has been busy with his! When I've been gone he's holding down the fort (and sometimes literally). I've been blessed to have such support, and he is WAY good and taking care of everythingggggggg!!These are things he's captured while I've been away:Drew is OBSESSED with Taylor Swift!! It could be because she sings his name, but Im pretty sure its because she is so beautiful! He is only four but has a picture from a magazine hanging on his wall(he taped there himself). So they helped him to be in a picture with her.

Of course Isaac playing and Sky posin for the camera (I swear she doesn't get that from me). My favorite is when the sing together while he plays!

Jack get out of school 20 min before the big kids. I pick them up behind the school and this is how I find him EVERYDAY! He is known as the kid in the tree. And he is so good about getting his homework done, while in the tree!

The boys got to hang for a bit and have some manly time, at taco bell, without the guitar.

CRAZYYYYY TIMEEEE Encounter

Today I took my boy to the park with his friends. I actually haven't been much of a park Mom since my kids are so big now, but with him being the only one at home we ventured out. Now keep in mind I was with this kid

He has a very energetic, fun, SPIRITED, kinda crazy personality. I had the park to myself for awhile and it was heavenly! They'd played and I felt so happy and calm! It felt like I was here and I kinda pretended I was.

Since it was so peaceful I decided to get some to dos done. A few of those things required phone calls so I got on the phone.

It felt good to get stuff done! I called my aunt and let her know how much I had done and what a great day it was. We ended up having a conversation about overcoming the negativity of others. Which is kindaaaa funny now. After a while a few others had showed up.

Drew and his friends were just running around and around having a blast. ALL the sudden this man YELLS at me "IS THIS YOUR RUDE KID?" and me knowing D can be rude at times replied with startle "yeah". I quickly look at whats going on and wouldn't you believe

nothing is. Thats right nothing no crying kid, no fallin kid, just this guy with his two year old standing happily next to him.

But the dad looked more like this

He then said to me, "WHY DON'T YOU GET OFF YOUR PHONE WOMAN AND WATCH YOUR KID, HE'S PUSHING OVER MY BABY" I couldn't believe he was literally yelling at me in such a way "Sorry, I think he's just playing " Like I said before I know D is very capable of harming another child but if he had pushed this kid over the kid would be bawling and screaming, cuz D is not gentle. I'm watching Drew and him and his two friends have their arms out and are squawking and running..he was pretending to be a bird (well actually a parrot I was corrected later). "YOUR BLEEP KID IS SCREAMING IN MY BABYS FACE LADY" "no he's just playing and having fun, it is a park" "HE IS BEING RUDE YOU ***HOLE AND BLEEP BLEEP BLEEP AND I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS LADY, I'M GONNA TAKE MY BABY OVER HERE" he took his precious baby (that I feel extremely sorry for) over to the other side of the park. Drew managed to fly back near him"I WISH YOUR HUSBAND WAS HERE CUZ THEN I'D DEAL WITH HIM"There were other things said that can't be repeated. Ladies looking at this CRAZY man and wondering how does he act to his WOMAN when he is at home? And to his baby? He has some serious issues. BUT through all the negative crazy time I made a new friend there. She is the nicest lady and we had such a great conversation! We wanted to keep talking but our kids were ready to go. We exchanged numbers and will meet up next week at another park (cuz we don't like psychos). So I ended up leaving the park with a positive feeling and glad that I had been there.

We woke up at 3am to watch...
a meteor shower. We walked down the street carrying an air mattress in arm. We laid it down and began our star gazing..o and extreme case of the giggles! (these pictures are not of what we saw they are ones my funny man took while watching his fav movie)

It was that time again for the kids to be off at Kousins Kamp with Aunt Krissy (thanks Krissy you rock my socks off). We were all alone for two days. My Johnny and I have had so much craziness lately it was just what we needed. In the last few months we have drawn closer than ever before. We are more in love and united. We are the us we once were. I am a very blessed girlie because I have him! So we went on a hike with our free time (which we haven't done in over ten years). Our camera is broken but we used a cell phone to try and capture it a little.

We had to sign in..weird right?

We started off so carefree (and clean) and full of energy.

Things caught our eye as we started off

As we went on we got a little tired but pressed on.

THEN we were attacked by BEES..it was kinda funny but it hurt. He got stung twice and me 5 times. And he got to see me strip down to nothing to get a stupid bee off of me.

We came upon cross roads that confused us so we weren't sure which way to go.

We got to what we thought was the top and sat and enjoyed the view. Then realized we had to climb even higher and weren't at the top.

Once we reached the top we were SOOOO tired but it was beautiful!

We could see where we had been and we were glad the hardest part was over. We were uncertain the way back if we even did the right hike. Once we reached our car we realized we did it!!

We had such a great time and gee can't we apply our hike to life!

I didn't die..I'm here.

We just got internet again after it somehow being difficult to move up the street and start it up at a new place. The power that some companies have and they just love to mess with you, I swear its true!

In other news I'm LOVING our new place. It could be because I'm way more organized than I have been in like five years, but I really do enjoy it. Its so calming and homey!

Its embarrassing how horribly unorganized and yucky I was!! I had boxes of crap that had been sitting in my other garage for EVER and as I went through each box I realized how lame I really am!!

The good news through all that is I found lots o loot from me being so careless and retarded. Change, cash, checks..all totally close to $150 dollars or more. It was a huge blessing really to find all that money and be able to use it to pay bills.

O yeah we're poor now and so I'm being upfront and honest about it so you don't think I think I have money when I really know I don't. We've been very blessed though, and for that I'm so grateful!

The thing I've loved the most lately is my Johnny!! I have the worlds most amazing man! Its true I do.

He is SOOOO crazy, but so cute! I've been tryin my darndest to be a good mom and reward good behavior and praise him when he says nice things (or nice for him ). I know some may not believe me but seriously he has such an evil little potty violent mouth. So we are trying to have loveliness (or at least not vulgarness) come out of his mouth.

As you can see I am a breakfast maker now..Crepes are my one of my top FAVs

I like to call this Ying and Yang (in look and personalities) they don't super get along AND Jack has learned its best to keep his distance or he may get beat up..although the last couple of days they played together and I almost fainted!!

Jack has lovedddddd the summer because he never has to leave my side. I enjoy seeing him gather his toys and never play with them..I think he's more of a collector or something. I also enjoy watching him continue to improve his breakdancing or whatever its really called.
Sky and I love hanging out and doing girly things and drinking our cokes and eating our chocolate and yogurts. She is actually one of the best sisters known to man. She plays with her brothers, teaches them school, and sings with Isaac. Girls are fun
O look a picture of Isaac! every patriotic holiday he puts up flags in front of homes as one of his scoutly duties. He likes his duties.

I've still loved the summer. I get to move again soon, to an even cozier cottage..but a real size kitchen and that I can't wait for!! We aren't moving far just up the street, I'm thankful we get the opportunity to move and pay way less rent. I've been very blessed lately and I've been so grateful for it all!!

Heres proof that I'm not doing so bad with making breakfast afterall.

This is my FAV !!! Chelsea made it for me for my birthday and I haven't stopped eating it since.

The good slash bad thing is my kids are loving it, but find it neccesary to make comments like"I didn't know you knew how to make pancakes" or "I'm glad you learned to make muffins now"...I had to admit to them that I've known all along and have just been a lazy ceral and toast mom for SOOOO long.

I've learned to really super enjoy it and even though it usuallly ends up being brunch
(because I need to make my next goal to get up before 9am)
I've just loved it.

I always think WOW Chelsea grew up with a fabulous breakfast EVERYDAY!! Her Mom put ice-cream on most things, including cereal and would make a variety of syrups. Not sure how I could pull this off with school in session but we'll see..I still have a couple months to get it down.

O and I love ice-cream for breakfast..I excercise so I can pig out, if your wondering.

Nothing is better than grocery shoppin. I always end up going a little to crazy and getting way to much. The rain and hail have greeted us our first week of summer vacation. I got a chance to go out and just stand in the pouring rain. I looked super crazy I know. I was barefooted and wearing a skirt and t-shirt. I love the feel of the rain just coming down on me. I love the clouds and the sound of thunder. I love running in the rain and not being able to tell if your wet from the rain or your sweat. I love days like today! BUT I do want summer to come now. I have big plans as I always do. Ones that include being a great Mom and making good breakfasts, having some school time, taking field trips, and all the great things people do in the summer. But my reality is that although I may try a few times to do those things I love to be lazy and I could just laze around with my kids all summer long (A.K.A. sleeping in, taking naps, watch movies, stay up late..and repeat). I'm glad I have them all summer cuz I really do love it!! No schedules, no rules, no more rain, no nuthin...happy summer

So Sky had a lovely school project that we actually had tons of fun doing. Famous American Report! She had to do a written report, which she surprisingly got started on early, an oral report , and best of all they got to DRESS UP as their famous american (o did I mention they got to choose their person). Soooooo she did her report on Marilyn Monroe!! [I wish they would make a movie about her life and the mystery of her death, its all soooo interesting]. I would NOT have been able to pull off the dress up part if it weren't for many of my awesome friends! They saved me!! Skyler had such a vision of exactly what she wanted and I was so afraid to fail her...my friends made her more than we could have ever hoped. It was awesome! She took some pictures of herself and those are the smaller ones cuz I don't know how to bigafi them. Take note those are her REAL eye lashes that lucky girl!

A couple weeks back my Annie Lona was in town visiting her friend and they took me and my man out to a most loverly dinner! Her friend even got me a nice gift and it was so unexpected and so nice! We had fun capturing the after dinner silliness. And we always think everything that probably isn't funny is. I loved having a night out with good company and my favorite guy! We made people uncomfortable making out, so it was a perfect evening!

My little boy has gone and grown up on me. He's continuing to change from a kid to a young adult. Going from talking only of Batman and superheros to film making,guitar, and colleges. He turned the big 13 at the end of April and in just those few weeks I've seen him grow up and mature so much. I constantly feel lucky to have him for my son.

I love how he loves his sister! I'm not sure what 13 loves a sister as much as he loves his. They have always been so close and still are!
He loves his Mom too!! I just found notes he wrote when 4 or 5 : "to Mom, I love you more than you could ever say"; "to Dad, I love you the same as I love mommy". He will sit down with me and talk or we can sit and laugh and laugh.

I've been able to realize how important being a stay at home mom is (especially the actually staying home part). Kids get older and more independent and we think we can just leave them to do their own thing, but I know its the big kids who probably need their moms the most! Happy Birthday!!

I've been able to really enjoy soooooo much more time with my kids and I loveeeeee it!!!!!! They are each so different and bring me joy in different ways. I feel so blessed to have them! I've noticed such a difference in the peace and joy in our home as I've chose to stay home and hang out with everyone. Johnny and I have been loving every minute we've had sitting and talking with the kids and just hanging out laughing, dancing, and being silly. Also note we have had no TV (not even basic cable) and I feel thats helped us to spend more quality time with each other. I'm thankful for all the simple moments!

Drew is a lot a bit CRAZY but he can also be so sweet to me. My favorite is how he calls me Mama Girl or Mommy Girl. I have no idea where he came up with that but I LOVE it! Especially when he has his hand on my cheek when he says it. He turns four next week and I just can't believe he's my baby. He is so funny and super fun and has more energy than a zillion energizer bunnies.

Jack is a lot a bit whiney, but also sweet and tender so I don't mind too much. I've babied him for so long (six years) and for some reason can't seem to stop. He would sit with me all day if he could. Pretty sure no one in this world loves me more than this kid. My favorite thing is when I drop him off at school he kisses and hugs me before getting out of the car. Then he runs halfway up turns around and blows me another kiss and waves and smiles. I'm tearing up now just thinking about it. It helps me smile the rest of the day. Its my favoriteeee.

My girlyyyyyy. O I love her!! She has seemed like she gets older than she really is (10) and she amazes me with her mad skills in literally all she does! Last week we just let her make whatever she wanted to in the kitchen (cuz we wanted to nap). We woke up to deliciousness. She called then Skylers spaztastic not craptastic chocolate chocolate chip cookies. They were so good I had her make more when the first batch was gone (cuz I scarfed them down). She is better than me at baking, braiding hair, and she also gives the best massages known to man. But my favorite is how she studies me. I've caught her so many times watching me brush my hair, do my make up, talking with friends. She loves me and I love her.

My IIIIIIIIIISACC, what a great kid. He turns 13 at the end of the month and I can hardly believe it! This kid is such a freakin good example to me. He made a goal to finish reading the Book of Mormon before his birthday and he's almost done. He is a straight A student, he is really good at making movies slash videos, he is a friend to all, and he talks to his mom about everything and I feel so lucky! My favorite is listening to him play the guitar. He is sooooo talented! He will play for me whenever I want, even if I'm still lazily in bed. He just wrote his first song (I won't say it was for his girlfriend) and this song is really good! I could listen to him all day. Its my favorite and I love my boy!

See I'm one lucky girl! Not to mention the guy who has joined me and loved me and supported me and helped me and on and on. I love my Johnny and I'm thankful we have this family.

Its been such amazingly beautiful weather and I have been enjoying every minute of it! I sure love being a California girl! So when you have a new life, that you have created, full of only whatever you choose to put in it...what do you do? I have never been to big of a reader but read is what I have done. Its the perfect thing to sit in the sun and do and its such therapy at times! SO I did a huge thing for me, big, ginormous! I read two books in exactly one week. I feel very accomplished and very happy that I did such a thing. So what two books did I read.

I read Water for Elephants cuz I've had the book for like five years now and never picked it up. So I finally read it and I really liked it! Now I can't wait to see the movie! That will have to be a girls night FOR SURE!!

The Secret Life of Bees was given to me by neighbor who had read it for her book club a long time ago. I really liked it. And I found out it to is a movie so I'll have to rent it.

Both books gave me much to think about and helped me to be grateful for different aspects of my life. I'm not sure I want to get old (like 90 old). I want to enjoy all the precious little moments life gives me and I again am grateful for all those who have been there for me. I have had many examples and joys with the people who surround me.

I got to go with my girlie on a week long field trip to Westminster Woods. We had the best time with our group of girls and we called ourselves The Loud Cupcakes (it was from a mad libs we did on the way). We also made up a fun, loud song that we loved to shout whenever we could! We had people wishin they were in our group cuz we did nothing but laugh and be silly. Every moment was one I'll always remember. All the girls now call me Mama Shauna and we will be having a reunion party soon. I'm so thankful I have a daughter who loves handgin out with me, a girl who is easy goin even when she has wet shoes, and a girl who shares her mom with many other girls!

Sooooooo I've received many a email or text asking if I've defriended people from Facebook. No sillies I have not deleted my sisters, brothers, bestest pals, oldest friends, and never met friends. Simplicity

Do you ever wonder what it must have been like back in pioneer days? Do you wonder how they could have all that energy to churn the butter and sew clothes, not to mention wash clothes by hand. Can you imagine not having running water or electricity? I can barely imagine life without my phone. I've spent WAY to much time doing WAY to much. I've forgotten to focus on what is most important and right in front of my eyes. My amazing husband (who I can't bare to call Hater anymore because no words can describe how loving he has been to me), my awesome,talented, fun kids (who are getting big much to fast), and myself have all been neglected. Soooo I shall cut back in as many ways possible. I may just have my phone sit on the table instead of having it in my bra ready to answer every text. I may just have to stay home at nights to give baths and read stories instead of going to meetings or out to play. I may just have to have wild and crazy..dates of course, with my husband who deserves better than me but chooses to love me unconditionally. So heres to my new beginning of betterment and simplicity! I love you all and thanks for all the support and love!

Sorry there are a lot of pictures but I just wanted to show some from the past also. So I was thankful I got to go to Texas to be with my family during this time. I haven't spent a whole lot of time with this side of the family in the recent years. It felt sooo good to be with my Grandma, hang with my cousins, hear stories of my Grandpa, and listen to some bluegrass. My Grandpa was a very skilled Mandolin player and there were many fellow pickers who came to share their memories and their love. I still feel a little shocked that he isn't here anymore. I kept wishing he would come in the house and kick me out of his chair, or that I could hug him one last time, or hear him play his music just once more. My poor Grandma has been married to him for 58 years and only knows life with him. I was blessed to have him in my life, and I was his favorite..that aint no lie..ask anyone!

I've recently had time to reflect on LOVEEEE not romantic love, family love. My poor Grandpa (Schoggins) is in the hospital, he is part of what has caused me to be thinking so much about this. I was talking to my older sister about my Grandpa and it hit me so HARD how much I've taken him and his love for me for granted. Let me explain a little. My family tree is super crazy- a brief outline:
My Mother got married, and pregnant with my sister..my mom wanted nothing more than a baby and had a dream of a perfect little family only to realize she was married to the wrong guy for that..so divorce it was. Then she had a fling with my Biological Father, whom I've never met. She was taken in by his good looks and charm only to get pregnant with me. Then when my older sister was 2 and I was 2 months old she met my DAD. They dated for a long time, he treated me and my sister as his own, and when I was 3 he and my mom married. They were madly in love and now my mom could have her dream of the perfect family, and soon had my little sister and then little brother. My DAD adopted me when I was 5 and I went from being a Schoggins to a Curtis.

Ok sooo all along my older sister was still apart of her dads family (Schoggins) and would often go the weekend to hang out. I guess when I was, I don't know young, they came to pick up Trina and I looked all cutely and asked if I could come along..and so I did. I did every time from that time forward. The Schoggins family became my family.

I have soooo many of the best memories of going with Grandma and Aunt Kathy and driving to their house for the weekend. There we would be greeted by Grandpa who was usually getting back from playing golf to then watch golf..he loves golf! I could be meeeee at their house! I felt happy and safe. I KNEW they LOVED ME and never ever questioned it. When out Trinas dad would also call me his daughter and no one would ever say anything different. I knew that I wasn't blood related to them, but that didn't matter. They said on many occasions I was blood to them. I'm definitely my Grandpas favorite and I know he would take you down if you tried to say I wasn't blood. THAT IS HOW MUCH THEY LOVED ME!! I needed that growing up! I needed them!

When I got married (super young) I didn't keep in touch with them as much. I rarely visited and rarely talked to them...alwayssss thinking about them but just really into my own life.

What I've come to realize is that I spent more time around or talking to those who didn't show me that same love. I took for granted my Auntie Kathy, Grandma, Grandpa, Kenny, and Art. AND ya know what they NEVER miss a holiday!! I get a card from my Grandma and Aunt Kathy for EVERY HOLIDAY!! YEP including St. Patricks Day!! They still do!!

So I say to any who may be reading this don't forget those who really really care about and love you! Write them a card letting them know how much you care. If they live near by take them flowers just because. Make sure they know how you appreciate their love and you love them in return!

I'm feeling soooooo happy and joyous and giddy and all that goes along with that. Last night I got to hang with my new friend Brandi and we had soooo manyyyyy laughs and funnnnnn. The fun continued once home and able to chat with my fun friendzzz via Facebook. (And I can't forget to mention the funny phone convo with my Chels andddd I ran into Abby also whilst out) I tell ya I love that so many fun people have come into my life and I swear always at the perfect time! I do have to thank the Hussy for bringin so many of us together cuz she is cool like that. I feel blessed AND ready to do laundry! I must say this mornin there may have been people tryin to mess with my jolly mood but I will not have it! Soooooo happy Friday to all and laughing as much as possible! I got to have many a giggle in Decemberrrrrrrrrr.

Abby invited me to attend a fun Charity event with her and her sis. We got to get all dolled up and go out on the town. We had fun dancing like crazies (ok I was the crazy sorry I have long arms) and people watching. We had the mostest fun after when we went to dinner, danced in the parking lot, and enjoyed a good ol chinese fire drill...we did miss our Chelsea though and hope to participate in just as obnoxious things sometime soon.

My Annieeeee Lonaaaaaa turned 50 and I got to help her celebrate!! I can only hope I look as good as she does at fity..DANG. We had dinner, we saw Burlesque, we pretended we were just as hot and danced and sang in the grocery store, we stayed up way to late attempting to play cards but we couldn't stop laughing (as usual), we did yoga together (its her fav), we ate yummy salad (another fav), and hung out with her fav girlies and went to see another movie. I Love her like no other and she is the bestest in the whole widest world!! O and I didn't get my height from her and this picture kinda shows that.

I was super excited to go to a Bridal Shower for my Lauren. I was her leader at church when she was 12-15 and we always had sooooooo much fun together. I can't believe she's getting married now. All these girlies in the pic below were the girls I worked with and I was so happy they were all there. We had good laughs of all the silly things we had done and I have missed them soooooooo much (they all live in Yuba City).

Twas the night before Cmas and all through the house all the kiddos were playing, and even a mouse

I LOVEDDDDDDD this!!! My awesomely funny friends from Yuba City had an Ugly Ornament Exchange. Cherree, Angela, and I have been friends since our six year olds were all babies. We used to gather once a week and make yummy lunch and let the babies play, and we laughed and laughed. At Christmas we would go out kid free for lunch or dinner and do an ornament exchange. We have even been kicked out of places a couple of times because we are sooooo loud! Then I up and moved and we didn't gather, our babies grew, and we were sad..but at Christmas we still gathered to do our ornament exchange. Last year we missed it and I was so sad! But this year we were back on and it was bigger, badder, and better!!

I had the besets day everrrrrrr. Love my friends!! And a special thanks to my BFF Abby for watching Crazy and putting up with my messy self!

It has been a most beautimous day filled with the warmth of the sun. It doesn't even almost feel like December to me. We got a tree and put it up, we decorated it, and went to a church christmas party...and its only the begining of Decemberrrrrr. I wish time wasn't going so fast, but at the same time I'm glad its going by fast. I am trying my darnest to be grateful for the things I have like my funny kiddos, and hubby, fabouloso friends, and a bed to sleep in at night. So yes I went away on another little me trip, and as I look back I realize I'm very spoiled. Its sooooo great to get away with good friends and have good times!! My friend Grace has wanted to do a girls trip since the day I met her three years ago, and this was the first one...and she got her first pedi!! She was SOOO nervous, but she enjoyed herself in the end. We shopped, ate, talked, played games and stayed up wayyyyy to late!! It was wonderful! Thanks Ladies for bein YOU!

So as I mentioned recently I've been helping out at the Child Abuse Prevention Center and we are doing this vote4thequotes campaign (go vote and buy a shirt silly). Someone knew someone who knew Bobby Jacksons people who knew our peoples people. So we got this assembly all set up to have him come. We did it at the kids school, and in part because Isaac did the video for their website. Soooooo I got it all organized and then just had everyones peeps get word to Bobby Jackson..OH and if you are one of my friends who for some reason isn't a basketball fan and doesn't know who I'm talking about then leave..just kidding..He used to play for the Sacramento Kings and was AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEE (well IS still awesome..just in case he's reading this). OK so when I got there to set things up yesterday I was informed that maybe he wasn't comin and I was stressin..and mostly stressin because ALLLLLLL the kids were planning on him coming and if was a no show how could we pull this off. THANKFULLY he showed and I will make a point to talk die rect lyyyy to him next time just so I can KNOW for certain. He is super normal and gave the kids the best motivational chat! It couldn't have been better and I'm glad he's my friend cuz he's RAD! YESSSSS we're friends I swear!!! GEEZ

He was given a Heron hat, shirt, and cookbook (I've never seen that cookbook before so that made me laugh!..he needs my carmel apple recipe dang it!) I loved that he wore the hat..and so did the kids!

He was chill and gave tons o kids his autograph..it was weird the kids didn't want mine...maybe next time!

He has a daughter named Skyy and my Sky loved that!! She sat next to him and was sooooo happy!

This is Isaacs English teacher and she was a nut! She literally squealed in excitement and was over come with joy..it was funny especially the noise she was making..I thought she was joking at first but NO she was serious she's a HUGE fan!!

It was a most fabulouso day and I'm sure one day he'll give me pointers on playing basketball...he'd probably say something close to what my sister in law Kathy has said to me when we played...just stand right there and don't moveeeeee (cuz I think I'm good but I NOT)

I wish I had the energy I once had to be a fun mom and get all into Halloween...but I feel like just looking at the old pictures of years past and being excited about that.
As I've searched I can't find all the years and I think many are not on my computer DANG..

This was jack jack as winnie the pooooooo we had a gathering with our baby friends and he hated his costume being on!

The same year he had to be peter pan to go with the theme...as you can see hater isn't a fan of dressin up. I loved sewing Isaac's captain hook costume and felt like a real mom when I dyed Jacks sweats for peter pan

OK so this was my favorite year I made sky's hair out of yarn and sewed her costume..they loved getting into character

This was the year that sky was a witch and the boys were all skeleton...but no proof of that cuz Johnny deleted all those photos by accident..I was TICKED!!

This was the year D was a skelton also...but since no pics I thought I'd show how we liked to torture him

And last but not least rock stars..batman..and a tiger...the first year of no theme..except Isaac and sky still matched and I liked that!

What will this year bring? Isaac wishes to make his own costume and he wants to be "soda man"...we'll see if that works out. Skyler wants to match me and be an 80's girl..thats easy to pull off. Jack wants to be a vampire and all I have to do is sew a cape..and D I regret will be a boxer and he is already enjoying punching everyone and everything!!

Do you ever just want to be a kid again? Making funny faces, laughing, playin, carefree? I often act like a kid and tend to even get in trouble for it. I had a dream about me and my childhood bff. We used to walk and meet, and in my dream we were kids again and doing just that. We lived four blocks from each other and would meet exactly half way..how we came up with this idea I don't recall and why when she wasn't there yet would I sit at the halfway point instead of continue on to her house? Why was I allowed to do that starting at age 8 should also be a question. O to be a kid again.. it twould be nice. And related to that the other day my sister called me and we talked alot about my Dad. She was getting all emotional which then made me get that way. We talked about how he was the best Dad we could have ever asked for. No he is still with us but as soon as we moved out and moved on things changed. I miss my Dad!

Lets try to help our kiddos have the greatest memories of us! Lets try to be that mom and dad we can be! Lets not be to busy to read stories or to busy to cuddle! And most of all as our kiddos grow up continueeeeee to do these things! Talk to your tween, talk to your teenagers... not just when they're in trouble. Get to know them and LOVE them!! I get to work with a lot of Young Women and I can see that what they really want is to know they are loved!! Okayyyyyyyy so go to it!!

Soooooo for starters know that since you can't hear the tone of my voice don't mistake this post as sad or mad I am happy and fiestyyyyyy thats all. SO that being said it has come to my attention that maybe just maybeeeeee not everyone knows meeeeeee that well and therefore misread or judge me because they didn't realize how I really am. As a favor to all of my friends (everyday and never met) and to my family I will tell you alllllll about meeeeeeee. I'm layin it all out there and I may forget a few but I feel this is a pretty complete list of who I am. In no particular order.....

1. I am horrible at responding to emails. (this fact was brought to my attention AGAIN more than once in the last week). I read them and assume you know that I read it and then don't respond. Sometimes I do and no rhyme or reason to if I do or don't.
2. Similar as the above not great at returning phone calls and my sisters, mom, aunt, and grandma can especially attest to this. I do text and LOVE texting cuz its fast, easy, and keeps me in touch with people. So text me I'll be your friend!
3. I LOVEEEEE FRIENDS and LOVEEEEEE PEOPLE!! I do I do! I love getting to know new people and love hanging out with my friends and if it bugs you that I like to have ALOT of different people in my life then maybe I'm not the friend for you...just sayin.
4. Similar to that I swear I NEVER forget a face! It could even be a face I've seen a couple times at the grocery store I will remember and then I will approach you. I have approached people many many times, alot of times making a fool of myself, and sometimes enjoying seeing someone I grew up with or lived near.
5. Birthdayssssss!!! I love them I love mine I love yours I love them all!! I never forget them either!! I know peoples birthdays that I shouldn't know or of people that I haven't seen since JR High. I swear its strange. But I used to be SOOO over the top good at sending a birthday card out to EVERYONEEEEEE!! Now I am no good (I'm no good I'm no good baby I'm no good..like the song)! Just know I FOR SURE think of you on your birthday, may call, or text, or Facebook, or email ya, but probably no card or gift.
6. Speaking of songs I love singing! I love making up words to songs and I'm super good at it! And I like the occasional sing in church sorta thing too, but I REALLYYYYYYY like Karaoke but you already knew that!
7. I am loud, my children are loud, and we like it!
8. I have lots of piles of crap and am unorganized.
9. I am obnoxious and if you don't like it then go away..its who I am and its just cuz I'm happy.
10. Semi related to the above I embarrass myself in public often! Hater can vouch for that! I think he secretly likes my skipping in public!
11. LOVEEEE SHOESSSSS
12. Love stayin up late, but I also love sleep soooo not sure how to balance it whatev.
13. I very much enjoy shopping! I especially love shopping for other people! My aunt used to have me be her personal shopper and when she needed a gift for someone I got to pick it out for her. I love finding just the right gift for someone..wish I had unlimited amounts of money so I could do it more often.
14. Its no secret that I love diet coke and chocolate.excersise
15. I say things without thinking and am bold, not trying to offend...again JUST SAYIN.
16. I totally sign up for things and then forget, for example kids classrooms.
17. I'm SELFISH! I love meeeeee time!! I love getting massages, pedicures, naps, etc. etc. So sue me!
18. I'm very CONFIDENT, granted I can be toooo confident and yes of course I have my insecurities like everyone but I've just always been confident and though some may try to shake me of it they can't!
19. I can be mellow once in a while and if I am don't be offended I'm just chillin so you CHILL.
20. I may talk behind your back to clarify a situation or discuss something that was said... ok whatever I gossip at times but I try to not to!
21. I loveeeeee to LAUGH and loud laughing I do! I have been kicked out of places and had people move away from me due to this laugh, but if you don't like laughing thats just straight up sad!
22. I like to work on developing talents, but sometimes to many at the same time...ooopppppsssss
23. Related to that is I overbook my schedule crazy time
24. I forget so remind me
25. The last and final thing I shall put is that I don't offend easily! I really don't, I'm pretty easy goin. And my flaw is thinking that others are the same and so I don't filter myself enough and maybe should but don't.

So I could add more but don't want to bore you or sound to full of myself but don't we all feel like sometimes we are just misunderstood?

I'm a weekend late.. a week ago my LOVERLY friend Kimberly (who has a hubby with fabuloso ideas like Moms day at the Spa) along with a couple other mommies and my lovely self got to go to NAPAAAAAAA! It was heavenly as we sat by the pool, ate yummy food, got massages, ate more food, laughed, went to dinner, laughed more and then went for a walk on the town to window shop, and then we ended our night with a little karaokeee. Anyone who knows me knows that I loveeee alll of those things so it was my favorite day! Thanks hubbies for letting us have a get away and we had a BLAST!! I had so much fun with my friends and can't wait to do it again!

We had tons of fun going to the longest game we've everrrrrrrr beennnnnnn toooooooooo! We left at the seventh inning (out of nine just in case ya don't know) and it was 11pm. CRAZYYYYY, but I'll have ya know that Sky and I wanted to stay for the whole game but the boys wanted to leave. It was fan appreciation night soooooo they had fireworks after every run and lots of stuff thrown out to us and the kids got to get DINGERs autograph! So life was good... super duper good!

This summer I read this book and I keep thinking about it. I just loved it! LOVED it! If your lookin for a book to read this could be the book for you!

Tonight at dinner I was crackin up! My kids are so stinken funny! I witnessed my 12 year old, who recently attended an etiquette dinner at church, eating with both hands shoveling food into his mouth. When I commented on his way of eating he responded with saying how much he hates forks. That remark got the conversation going of things we just really don't like. Skyler HATES shoes. She really does! Its the funniest thing to witness her on the days she has P.E. put on closed toed shoes. She throws fits..yes fits! And they are funny to watch. Hater stated the obvious that he hates messes.. no joke he is a clean freak. Jack hates when he has green diarrhea. Drew doesn't like being quiet. And me well... I don't like clothes. I really don't! I love being naked and the last thing I do when getting ready is get dressed. So we decided it would be so great to all go the rest of the week doing without these things. Sky would wear whatever shoes, Isaac no forks, Johnny no messes, and me ohhhhh never mind we decided we'd all just continue with those things we hate.

When did I get old enough to have three kids in school all the day?! I just can't believe that my Jack Jack is in first grade now. Skyler is in freakin fifth grade. Isaac is in yes 7th grade. Crazy crazy crazy! I again am not sure how I've been so blessed to have them as my children..they are great, really really great! I love them!!

Its so strange to me that when it rains it pourssssss. I am amazed at how hard the adversary will work on people and I'm glad there are examples of people in the past who have overcome far worse than I will ever have to deal with. Its a great example to me of how I should handle things that come may way. Its not always to easy to smile through it and definitely not easy to understand it. I can just hope it makes for a stronger better person.

As I have read through many a blog I notice quite a few people have pet names for their hubby. At the beginning of my blogging I was using mines name. THEN he wanted NOTHING to do with my blog and so I started calling him hubby. But as time goes on I have come to realize I have the name ALL WRONG. He shall now be known as HATER. For those of you who know him well or just barely know him will agree that this is a fitting name. AND you may also be surprised to know that I can not take credit for his new nickname. ALL the credit goes to HIM! YEP that's right hater came up with it on his own and suggested I use it and so now I will! I do love my hater! Remember when you were a kid and you sit on the potty only later to discover you were out? We lived in a two story house and it seems that the times of most importance, like no t.p., noooo one would be nearby. I think it happened often because I had kind of a song I would sing. I would first shout is anyone up here?
then I would proceed to sing at my loudest. I NEED SOME TOILETTTTT PAPERRRRRRRRRR (repeat as necessary). I still remember exactly how I would do it.
Sooooo anyways as an adult I don't want to experience running out so I am always pretty well stalked in my bathroom and food storage. BUT I fail to check the kids bathroom enough to see if they are stalked well enough. So the other day my eldest ran out. I realized we are in a different day an age when it wasn't a song I heard him singing or even him yelling it... I received a text message from him.

I just have to say this is the word that has crossed my mind the last couple of weeks. Why do such stupid things happen when we can all be smart but choose not too? I feel like I had big summer plans in my head and had really really thought it would be the GREATEST SUMMER EVAAAA.. well I was super duper wrong! On one hand I have really great, cool, amazing things going on and that has helped the blow of this lame summer not be too bad, BUT when I really think about it I want to CRY. Sooooo you say why is it such a lame summer well, I wanted to play. I wanted to play and play and play. With whoooooooo well my two BFFs I wanted TRIBOND to have outings, and shopping, and sleepovers, and camping, and getaways. I must not have let that be known because it has yet to work out for me to hang with them in any type of fun setting and they have a couple times. I think what I've realized is I sit and think about my awesome friends and how much I love them and want to be another wife with them and be their sister and be their EVERYTHING and I don't spend enough time SHOWING them that I care. I have found out all too often in my stupid years that I can be a selfish, vain,egotistical person who makes her friends/family not too fond of her because she is too busy flippin her hair and puttin on her heels and checkin her hot self in the mirror, oh wait Im talking about myself. I forget to look at what they may need instead of what I want or need. SOOOOOOO as I complain about my STUPIDDDDDDDD SUMMERRRRRRRRR I reflect on my girls that I should have played with but didn't. We didn't even get to wear our onesie pajamas, THAT'S how bad it was!

It is that time of year once again that our children will be attending Kousinz Kamp. Sounds similar to the Wet en Kampout but its not. This is an event that Aunt Krissy started years ago and has kept it going even though there are like 28ish cousins. I look forward to hearing about what fun they had and I look forward to no violence and whinning. My kids are grownin up so dang fast!

My whinner that loves his mom more than anyone or thing in the entire wide world and more than any other kid could possibly love their mom. I do hope that lasts, not so much the whinning though, but the loveeeeeeeeeeeee.

My violent crazy child who never stops talkin about his girlfriend Maeve and never goes to bed like we think. He silently destroys the house. He does every single night!!!! Last night was more marker on the walls.

Last year we had good times with lots of friends, food, fireworks, and even got to catch a blanket on fire.

This was 2007. We went to our friends house to once again have a fabulousssss party. I used to take red white and bluey pictures of my kids.

I love this one by our tree in front of our old house. I love Isaacs look compared to Sky. Its almost like a mini me and Johnny. I think it was 2005 or 2006.

I'm actually kinda sad this fourth because its the first year of my life I can remember doing NOTHIN with NO ONE! I'm not sure if its cuz we just got back from camping,partying with fun friends, and visiting my brother and dad all in the same week or if I'm a loser mom who can't make it fun for my kids cuz I had no plans. MEEEEEEE no plans?!! It kinda freaks me out a bit but its good to have humbling experiences such as these :-). But for realz today I was thinking alot about my military friends alot whilst I was at church. I just can't believe what sacrifices people make for us and you ladies who hold it all together while your husbands fight for our country are more than AMAZING!! So happy day to all of youuuuuuuuuuuu!!

It was perfect timing that we got to go to a work function for a weekend getaway. I had been so tired from moving and unpacking and I think I slept more during our getaway than the whole week before. My Cozy Little Cottage

We did it! We packed up our stuff and got the heck out of there all in three days. It was amazing to me that we actually did it!! I remember looking at my 2800 sq ft house and thinking there is no way! I would open a cupboard and want to vomit thinking about trying to pack it all up... so I would close the cupboard and do nothing. Soooo I finally busted it out! I just literally threw everything into boxes, no rhyme or reason, and even garbage. We moved into a 1485 sq ft apt., so yeah we down sized. I never once have felt weird or anxious about this, its actually felt really good. I've been dejunking, throwing out, and selling a ton of stuff. Have you ever noticed the crap you keep just because it can fit into your house?! For realz I'm embarrassed as to the hoarder I had become... not to mention my baskets O crap that I accumulate, no really they are just that basket fulllllllllll of crappppppppp that should have been thrown out, but in my haste to clean up I would throw into my handy baskets (its a Shaunaaaaaaaa trademark). So now onto our new life of no clutter, no mess, and no unorganization. And we have a pool and gym all at the same location. I'm lovin the simple life in my cozy cottage! Oh and I'm back!!

-Plan next YCL meeting that is (oh crap) I think next week
-Plan lesson for Young Women class on Sunday (I looked at the topic once and have since forgotten)

-Oh and find a place to live (like NOW)(Long story... our landlord is lameeeee and now is kicking us out)

I'm sure I should add visiting teaching to that list and volunteering in the kids classes oh and babysitting tomorrow, but thats all just happenin anyways so I don't have to add it to the list. Life is good and I can only function with chaos! Plus I think my mom stresses out for me so I don't have to. It'll all work out I just know it!

Abby and I went to visit Abby who had her little Eliza six weeks early. She was 3lbs and looked perfect! She went home and is doing fabulous!

Chelsea and I went to the Crocker Art Museum, we had a great time and little Gretel was super fun to have with!

I love that I can say that and its true!! I'm a dork like that. Okay SOOOOOOOOOOO if ya wanna know I'll explain a little, if not look at the pic and move on. I grew up with my three siblings and my two parents and as far as most people knew that was that. But the hidden stories and twists and turns are there. To make it not toooo long the siblings I grew up with are Trina, Christina, and Paul. Trina is older by two years and has a different dad (her and I always hung out with her dads side and I claim them as mine as well, and they claim me as theres), then my mom had me and I never met my biological father, then my lil sis Christina and brother Paul have the same dad and thats my dad that I grew up with (and he adopted me when I was five). So when I was a teenager I went behind my moms back and went to find my biological dad. Back then there was no internet and it took alot of work on my part, but weirdly I found him. It made my mom soooo mad. Anyways I found him but never have done more than chat with him a couple of times and letters here and there. But I discovered then that I had other siblings (keeping in mind they are all with different women). Soooooo I did some more diggin and found my brother. We talked seven or so years ago, and then lost contact. Now thanks to Facebook we reconnected. It worked out that he was going to be near where I live and so we got to meet up. I was nervous and excited and loveddddddd it!!! It was way better than I could have ever ever imagined. We have the exact same eye color and I think we kinda look alike. We talked with ease and had such a good time!! I hated saying goodbye. It was really the best visit. I am sooooo thankful I got to meet him and so excited to get to know him better. Any questions? let me know I kind of gave a quicker version so as not to bore some and offend others.

This has been a very strange week for me. I felt so strange, stranger than I remember feeling before. I had two full days of bad grumpiness, and I'm not even PMSing. I wanted to run and run far, but why? No reason AT ALL!! No one thing had happened that caused my bad mood, nothing horrible had happened at all. I then had the best weekend and most uplifting weekend ever (or at least in a long time). I think my grumpies put me in a place to be able to experience the complete joy that I have. I wish I could explain more, but its hard to put it into words. I love my husband even more, I have seen a side of him I never thought I would and its made me really really really love him, and I'm so stinkin lucky to have him. I don't think I deserve him, but I'm grateful he's mine for eternity. I know we enter the twilight zone here and there, but when we get out of it things sure are amazing!

Monterey with my Sky

I got to go as a chaperone on a field trip to Monterey with a bunch of fourth graders. I drove my own car, which I was happy about and they loaded me up with girls. I also had the pleasure of a passenger, another mom, who spoke very little english. Uncomfortable at first but then she realized I would just be singing songs and laughing and being loud that I'm sure she didn't really want to talk to me anyway. The girls named our group the Party Pack and we tried to live true to that by singing so loud that all the cars with grumpy parents made other kids jealous. I also bought a box of Sees candy to share with the girlies on the trip. I lucked out that two of the girls didn't like chocolate. I had a fun group of about seven girls that would hang out with me and they were calling me Mama Shauna. We stayed in the night at Asilomar and I took my girls on a late night pajama walk. I also made sure to embarrass myself by getting all the sixty kids to sing a fun camp song with me and I got half way through and forgot the rest of the song... heee heee my bad. I feel like Skyler and I bonded so much and even though she's almost ten she would hold my hand and skip and run with me. I love my girl!!

I have made alot of new friends lately. They all make me smile, they all make me laugh, and of course they are all sexy. When you read someones blog you get to know them maybe better than someone who has a kid in the same class as your kid, or better than someone you see at the park once a week, or at the gym a couple times a week. That reason is we don't just say whatever we are feeling to those other people, but when we blog we are welcoming others into our world, and in my case world of weirdness, silliness, and at times chaos. One thing I've been super thankful for with my new friends is that they have made me realize how much others sacrifice for us, like our service men and women, and their families that wait for them. I can not even almost imagine what it would be like to have my husband gone for months and months leaving me to do it all alone, all the while worrying about his safety and well being. I have really really taken for granted all those that serve our country! I have!! I think partly because I haven't ever known anyone who has or at least haven't paid any attention. So I keep thinking about my friends and realize how selfish and lame I am and how they will be more WOMAN than I could ever be. Thanks ladies for shedding light on what you go through! And I hope its okay that I refer to us as friends, I love having friends! I'm going to make more of an effort to support and show appreciation to these families, and show my hubby a little more support and love.

Its really an amazingly strange thing. The fact that we can connect with ANYONE that we've ever known. Or anyone we've wanted to know. Or just peek at those we wonder about, but wouldn't ever let them know. I've made some really fun friends through facebooks and blogs. I've learned alot about people: good things, bad things, made up things. I have even found myself at times feeling lazy or not as talented as others, all from facebook (and blogs). I just thought I'd write a little post about facebook as it has recently connected me with a brother. I have never met this brother but we've spoken on the phone and written letters. I love that we've been able to build a bro/sis relationship through this world of facebook, its strange but I'm glad for it.I know I have other siblings out there that I've never met and also hope to reconnect/discover each other one day. So I've also been reconnected with my biological father. Even more strange for me. We've also never met. We had contact with each other years ago, but for whatever reason he found a way to disappear again for the last 8 or so years. Its weird I know and maybe one day when I have alot of free time I can draw a family tree for everyone so they can be confused and get a good laugh all in one day. One thing I am always always thankful for though is my family that raised me. My Dad adopted me when I was five and raised me as his own. My brothers and sisters never treated me as anything other than blood and same with my grandparents, aunts and uncles. My mom, well she put up with me being a rebel and has always reminded me that dad is my dad no matter what-and she's right.

So I thought lamely "gee I should plan an Easter gathering with the Wetenkamp Fam". It actually wasn't too bad but when you plan it you have to PLAN on hearing negativity all the way! I will spare you all the drama that I felt, but just know it was felt. One thing I put together was a service project. We put together Easter baskets for kids that are at a temporary housing shelter. We took all the twenty kiddos with us to deliver them and it was AWESOME! It made it possible for me to ignore all the negativity going into it, I just figure so many of us gathering why not do a service project. The kids who received the baskets were super excited and cheered with excitement. I hope people who complained going into it feel differently now. We had a full weekend with the fam and then a lovely dinner with friends Sunday ( night of which I have no pic). I love my kids and I especially loved the fun time I got to spend with my girly, she is sure growing up. Are we really already in April yikers!

Its not my favorite to clean, nope its not! Its something that hubby and I have been known to argue about. ALOT! He's an unusual kind of man who likes to hang his shirts by color, short sleeve, long sleeve, etc. He likes things organized and orderly and I'm sure he'd really love it if I cleaned whilst lookin like the picture above. You see I used to have a system... certain days clean this or that. One time I even had cards for myself for what I would do each of the week. I also used to have this organization binder with lists of things I'd clean and when I'd do what and all that good stuff! Now I just avoid all of it! I have kids and they can help but I hate to have them slave toooooo much because it brings back bad childhood memories (I'm sure I'll get a call from mom for this comment). So what options to I have? Really? I don't know I don't wanna do it anymoreeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I hope they make this a tradition and if not I will find some excuse to have an 80's dance party. It was a church couples dance. I think I had more fun than anyone there and I went stag. STAG you say, but why? Well, from the time they announced this fabulous idea of a dance my hubby wanted nothing to do with it. He was insisting that he wouldn't go. But as time got closer I was sure he would cave and accompany his hot 80's chick to the dance. So as I was crimping my hair he came in to tell me he was going to be staying home to prepare his talk more that was to be given in church the next day. Now it was a good reason to stay behind but he had been working on it and known about it for TWO WEEKS. I didn't show how hurt I was that he wasn't going and I left. I tried to not let it bother me that I was dancing alone at slow songs or with my gal pals, but I was missing him. I was only offended once by what I thought was a rude comment by someone, and I didn't even storm out. I got plenty of laughs as I did the hammer dance to can't touch this, and if my hubby was there he might have warned me that my fat was jiggling a little to much. I LOVE to dance and I know I'm not a good dancer I just don't give a hoot and I love to dress up so it was a great combo! All in all it was a blast and I forgave him and made him pretend to be Kirk Cameron that night, so all was well!

Yesterday was just another reminder to me that yes I have a Hot friend. I went to get my hair cut for the second time from this same girl that I love. So I mentioned to her that my friend Abby came as a referral from myself. "Oh yeah she's the beautiful girl, with the dark hair. She's so gorgeous." Yes yes she is! When talking to a friend who I haven't seen in a while and she was looking at my friends on Facebook " Whose the hot girl?" . She is also my visiting teaching companion and every time I go and see this old lady without her, " Where's that beautiful girl? " and then she proceeds to go on and on about how beautiful she is. FOR REALZ she is beautiful! Strikingly gorgeous and turns heads where ever we go! So this post I dedicate to you Abby! My HOT friend! If she was just beautiful on the outside it would be one thing but she really is on the inside and out! She is such a great friend and so kind to all!

My hubby and I always go out on Friday nights, and alot even on Saturday nights. I love the weekend for this very reason. This last Friday we were gonna stay home and do a movie with the kids, but when his boss called and asked if we wanted tickets to see the Kings play the Bucks we said YES. I LOVE me some Basketball, I actually also really love the players and their tall in shape selves, shhhh don't tell my hubby dearest. So I figured they'd be good tickets but HOLY MOLY, we were right on the floor. When the players came to the side to throw the ball in I could touch their butts if I wanted (I wanted but contained myself). It was an exciting game and they even went into double overtime, oh the luck! I had a blast and LOVED every minute!

One thing being a Mom has taught me is that I know nothing, or at least VERY little. Having a son who is smarter than smart is difficult for me at times! He is already in pre algebra, he has a 4.0 and I NEVER have to help him with his homework, thank goodness- he actually usually finishes it all at school so I never have to worry about him. Well, the older he gets the dumber I feel! Yesterday he was working on an art project. He kept saying "I love making tessellations. They are so fun" or " I'll be there in a minute I'm working on my tessellation". After about five times of him saying it I said in my Mom knows EVERYTHING voice "Um I think your saying it wrong, I've never heard of that word before". I thought it sounded a little like a bad word, or at least somethin dirty. But he insisted it was correct, even my hubby didn't think it was being called the right thing. SO we looked it up and..... sure enough I'm a dork! He is right! We are WRONG! I remember looking at tessellations alot as a kid, but did I EVER know it was called a tessellation? NO!! Am I blessed or what? I feel so lucky to have two of the bestest besties! They make me smile, they make me laugh, they make me laugh until I'm crying, and they make me feel so happyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. We went to San Fran for a day trip. We filled it with shopping, food, and of course excellent pedi's. Now I usually only let Chels touch my tootsies, but this is a place Abby used to frequent and ohhhhhh HEAVEN!! I bet Chels loved being the one getting pampered for a change. It was Abby's treat to us and what a treat it was! I LOVE my friendzzzzzzz!

Starting off the trip. It POURED on the drive down and then was the sunniest most beautiful day!

BREAKFAST: YUM! Abbys was super YUM, I'm getting that omelet next time! Oh and by the way they only take cash, Chelsea had to sit and wait for us girls to go to the ATM. Why did they not mention cash only BEFORE we ate all our food?

We almost drifted in to a good sleep during our treatment, it really was heavenly!

We noticed a sweet discount store as we walked around the corner and I've NEVER seen someone get such a kick in their step as Chelsea did( she is a shopaholic)! We had a good time in the store with their smelly over priced vintage clothes, I still wish I got the poncho though!

We likey to be silly!

I'm investigating something veryyyyy suspicious, so very much indeed. How I will investigate I'm not certain of yet, but I will OH I WILL. What you ask am I wanting to investigate? Well, here is the situation:
My hubby dearest from the begining of my blogging has had an open dislike for my blogging. So much in fact he even asked me to not have him be a part of it, that was annoying since I already had the blog address as the wetenkamp family and then strangely it has little to do with my fam and a LOT to do with me (as has been pointed out to me by unnamed people). I rarely, if ever, mention HIS name. AND I have even been known to scribble out his face so he could remain anonymous. But now I have a sneaking suspicion that he is secretly following my blog. Could it be, is he now semi interested in my entries- okay so maybe interested is taking it to far maybe just curious. Hmmm I'm a wonderin, how can I figure it out and catch him in the act?

Don't ya hate it when your all dressed up and then out of no where a knock at the door! Thank Goodness it was my neighbor, but she was definitely shocked to see me all gussied up in such a fashion. She suggested I go out tonight, I think I'll just stick to freakin out the neighbors and kids!
